My very first assignment in Italy.

Nervous excitement from the start, curled hair in a hotel room that wasn’t mine because my Airbnb host had gone out for dinner, and me trying to get ready on heels while rolling my suitcase over the cobblestone streets of Florence.

A beautiful location: Palazzo Portinari Salviati. Guests dressed in stunning black tie suits and elegant gowns, masked, with original and refined outfits creating a sense of timeless elegance.

What started as a first leap into international work eventually turned into an ongoing collaboration, and I’ve been shooting for them at every edition since.
